Women Empowerment is now considered a human rights issue. Gender inequality cannot be fully eliminated merely by the legal and administrative measures. The educated people should develop a national consciousness of the positive impact of gender equality. There is a need for changes in perception towards women. The human society would be most advantaged only if women are treated equally and are not deprived of their rights. Let us hope for a society where women are not discriminated because of their gender.

The fighters said their group could use even more foreign volunteers. They also chimed in on questions such as whether they’d consider a political solution involving Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad remaining in power. The fighters said the Kurds would accept Assad if he grants them full autonomy.
NIEDEL: They do. They do. And it's interesting because we actually had that same idea to say, hey, can we use this as a way to make money off of this? If we know something about air pollution that the traders don't know.
Self-proclaimed Kurdish fighters made a public appearance Thursday on the social media site Reddit, calling upon sympathizers to donate money or, better yet, come to Syria to help them fight militants from the Islamic State.
NIEDELL: Right, so what we did was we had an air pollution monitor that was very close to the Exchange. Through that monitor, we had hourly measures of air pollution, and we were able to look at the particular hours at which air pollution was reaching a certain level and look at the returns on the S 588 P 555 on that day.
Other critics of the human needs approach assert that many conflicts involve both needs and interests. So, conflict resolution cannot come about by just meeting human needs. For example, when looking at the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, it is understood that both needs (identity, security, freedom) and interests (., resource allocation, international boundaries) are involved. Consequently, even if the needs of both parties get met, the conflict will probably not be resolved. Resolution can only come about when both needs and interests are dealt with.
POWERS: But these crews haven't had to do that. The fire didn&rsquo t get close enough to the campsite. Instead, out of town crews largely relied on water from lakes, rivers, and streams. Franklin says, this whole experience of taking in these firefighters has been eye opening.
The YPG’s openness to foreign recruits has not always led to fruitful results. British actor Michael Enright, who reportedly went to Syria and joined the YPG without any military experience, was kicked out for his incompetence and erratic behavior, according to a . veteran now fighting with the group.
An enemy image is a negative stereotype through which the opposing group is viewed as evil, in contrast to one's own side, which is seen as good. Such images can stem from a desire for group identity and a need to contrast the distinctive attributes and virtues of one's own group with the vices of the "outside" group. In some cases, evil-ruler enemy images form. While ordinary group members are regarded as neutral, or perhaps even innocent, their leaders are viewed as hideous monsters.
My generation is hopeful, practical, strategic and muscular, and not naï ve. In fact, we are staking our very sense of self on it. We want history to write us as the ones who got to work. We are the fossil fuel freedom fighters and we&rsquo re on the move.
