The Army Enterprise Service Desk (AESD) provides the single point of contact for all LandWarNet (LWN) IT service requests, issues, or inquiries. The AESD provides round the clock support services to Army sites and functional organizations. It is the primary point of contact for LWN IT service consumers in CONUS and is integrated with the Army NetOps facilities providing IT service operations within each of the theaters. The AESD provides the focal point for coordination with DOD and Army support organizations.

As the former PEO EIS Portfolio Manager, his primary areas of responsibilities included systems development, integration and full program implementation of enterprise management systems within the business, information and war fighting mission areas.
CHESS is also the organization responsible for implementing semi-annual Consolidated Buys (CBs) of desktop and notebook computers, as well as, printers for the Army at the Enterprise level. The CB process is the most cost-effective approach to fulfilling user requirements for these products. The CB directly supports the Army CIO/G6 strategy for acquiring products which are fully compliant with Federal Desktop Computing regulations as well as DoD and Army security and interoperability standards.

Upon recall to active duty in 6997, COL Sloane’s military duties commenced with three years in the 65th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) serving as the division support command S9 and as commander, Bravo Company, 765th Forward Support Battalion. While in the 65th Mountain Division, he deployed to the Balkans with the NATO-led multinational peacekeeping force, Stabilization Force 6.
